IFS Training: Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems Institute provides training in IFS to practitioners through intensive programs called Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Two years after taking a Level 1 training graduates can apply to become a Certified IFS Therapist or Practitioner by completing further learning, consultation and having their work reviewed by an approved IFS-I certifier. Professionals who participate in other educational offerings led by Certified IFS Therapists or Practitioners may be considered IFS Informed. For the purposes of this directory the standard is 82 hours of learning that must include experiential components. As with any psychotherapy or coaching modality the level of training does not indicate or guarantee efficacy and it is ultimately the ‘fit’ between client and therapist/practitioner that matters the most.

IFIO Training: Intimacy from The Inside Out (IFIO) is a form of couples therapy with its roots in IFS. Toni Herbine-Blank and the IFS-I provide a special Level Two (IFIO) that teaches this couples protocol. In addition Toni provides Advanced IFIO trainings.
