IFS Training: Richard Schwartz‘s Internal Family Systems Institute provides training in IFS to practitioners through intensive programs called Level One, Level Two and Level Three. At any point a year or after taking a Level One training a practitioner can apply to become a Certified IFS Therapist with IFS-I by completing further learning, supervision and by having had their work reviewed and accepted by an approved IFS-I certifier. Derek Scott also provides training in IFS and anyone that has completed his Skills and Competencies Course is considered IFS Informed.
IFIO Training: Intimacy from The Inside Out (IFIO) is a form of couples therapy with its roots in IFS. Toni Herbine-Blank and the IFS-I provide a special Level Two (IFIO) that teaches this couples protocol. In addition Toni provides Advanced IFIO trainings.
As a psychotherapist and trauma therapist, my approach is informed by Compassionate Inquiry and IFS. I am a Compassionate Inquiry Founding Facilitator, EMDR Consultant in Training and Clinical Supervisor. I integrate various trauma therapy modalities including EMDR, IFS, Poly-Vagal Therapy, Trauma Sensitive Yoga - Meditation, Art Therapy and Ancient Wisdom Teachings. I support clients through a range of challenges and concerns (emotional, mental, relational and spiritual), and have a special interest in the treatment of complex and intergenerational trauma with adults as well as supporting clients with medicine work preparation and integration. I have worked alongside Indigenous community since 2007 as a helper and counsellor, my approach to psychotherapy has been strongly influenced by these connections. I am passionate about personal change and awareness; this intention forms the foundation of my work with clients and community.
