IFS Training: Richard Schwartz‘s Internal Family Systems Institute provides training in IFS to practitioners through intensive programs called Level One, Level Two and Level Three. At any point a year or after taking a Level One training a practitioner can apply to become a Certified IFS Therapist with IFS-I by completing further learning, supervision and by having had their work reviewed and accepted by an approved IFS-I certifier. Derek Scott also provides training in IFS and anyone that has completed his Skills and Competencies Course is considered IFS Informed.
IFIO Training: Intimacy from The Inside Out (IFIO) is a form of couples therapy with its roots in IFS. Toni Herbine-Blank and the IFS-I provide a special Level Two (IFIO) that teaches this couples protocol. In addition Toni provides Advanced IFIO trainings.
I provide meaningful support to those seeking positive change, self-understanding, and a desire to live more fully and authentically — in connection with themselves and others. Many of my clients are in their 20s and 30s, navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lingering impact of childhood or relational trauma. I provide counselling to private and insured clients under the supervision of registered psychotherapist Bonney Elliot. I am a gentle and curious therapist, and I bring compassion, honesty, and a quality of stubbornness that I hope will be seen as an unfaltering commitment to support your journey.
My approach is relational, caring, and collaborative. As a certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, I also draw on Humanistic and Somatic therapies to support emotional healing and self-understanding. With a background in Geography and systems thinking, I’m attuned to how cultural, intergenerational, and environmental forces shape our inner worlds.
It takes courage to look inward — especially if your past relationships have made trust feel risky. Know that we will take time to connect, explore who you are, and be curious about the experiences that brought you here. I value safety, non-judgment, and the courage it takes to be open with another. That’s why therapy with me moves at the pace of trust.
