IFS Training: Richard Schwartz‘s Internal Family Systems Institute provides training in IFS to practitioners through intensive programs called Level One, Level Two and Level Three. At any point a year or after taking a Level One training a practitioner can apply to become a Certified IFS Therapist with IFS-I by completing further learning, supervision and by having had their work reviewed and accepted by an approved IFS-I certifier. Derek Scott also provides training in IFS and anyone that has completed his Skills and Competencies Course is considered IFS Informed.
IFIO Training: Intimacy from The Inside Out (IFIO) is a form of couples therapy with its roots in IFS. Toni Herbine-Blank and the IFS-I provide a special Level Two (IFIO) that teaches this couples protocol. In addition Toni provides Advanced IFIO trainings.
I'm a Feminist Therapist and integrate somatic/IFS parts work, emotionally-focused therapy, and mindfulness into my work. I incorporate holistic, relational, and integrative lenses and am an experienced trauma therapist. I have supported people through the process of healing developmental (childhood) trauma, attachment wounds, and relational trauma including sexual violence and specialize in supporting parents with this pivotal rite of passage, especially if they have a history of abuse. I also bring in a balance of mind, body, and soul work into my practice. I am passionate about supporting people on their healing journey, and am honoured to be with them along the process. I trust you as your own expert, and act more as a guidepost. My approach as a therapist is strongly rooted in building a sense of trust in the process and yourself, so that you can live your life to your fullest expression.
